These terms of business set out the basis on which Integrated Financial Services will provide Investment, Pensions, Health Insurance, Mortgages, Life Insurance and associated financial services and / or advice to you.

Status with the Financial Regulator

Eamon Keaney t/a Integrated Financial Services is regulated by the Financial Regulator as a Multi-Agency Intermediary and as a Mortgage Intermediary.

Our Services
 

Integrated Financial Services is an Investment, Insurance and Mortgage Broker / Intermediary and is a member of the Professional Insurance Brokers Association.

Insurance Brokers must be in a position to place business with a least 5 companies of the relative form (life / non life) and therefore can give consumers greater choice than agents and tied agents (typically Bank / Insurance Reps).

We currently (08.08.2008) hold written appointments from the following Product Producers:

Investment / Life: Caledonian Life, Canada Life, Zurich Life Assurance, Friends First, Hibernian Aviva Life & Pensions Ltd, Irish Life Assurance Co., New Ireland Assurance Co, Oregan Financial Ltd., Standard Life, Wealth Options, Merrion Stock Brokers, Pinnacle Insurance, Bloxhams, BCP Asset Management.

Life Assurance companies provide products such as life cover, serious illness cover, income protection, savings plans, investments and pensions. Depending on your   individual circumstances, we may provide you with advice and arrange policies on your behalf. You may, however, have particular areas of interest and, in this case, we will be happy to give more detailed advice in these areas. With your agreement, we may review the policies you take out or have taken out on a periodic basis to ensure that you are kept informed as to their benefit and to check whether they are still suitable for your needs. We will also provide assistance to you for any queries you may have in relation to the policies or in the event of a claim during the life one of these policies.
 

Mortgages: Bank of Ireland Mortgages, KBC Bank Ireland plc t/a KBC Homeloans, Permanent TSB, Home Funding Corporation Ltd, Stepstone Mortgage Services Ltd, PIBA Mortgage Services Ltd, giving you access to AIB, First Active, Bank of Scotland, ICS Building Society, Start Mortgages, G.E. Money and EBS Building Society. We provide advice in relation to all types of Mortgages and can arrange lending with those mortgage lenders as listed above.

Deposits: We act as Deposit Broker for Anglo Irish Bank and Permanent TSB giving our clients access to very competitive Deposit Interest Rates
 

Health Insurance:
We are appointed agents for Hibernian Aviva Health, but please feel free to approach another Health Insurance provider for a quotation. We organise Private Health Insurance on an individual and / or Group Basis.

House Insurance:
We only have one House Insurance agency (which is convenient for our clients on occasion e.g. at Mortgage Drawdown time, which is with Hibernian Aviva General.
but please feel free to approach another Health Insurance provider for a quotation.

Personal Retirement Savings Accounts (PRSAs) are available in 2 forms

Standard PRSAs - with capped charges
and
Non Standard PRSAs.

If you would like us to advise you on PRSAs or arrange a PRSA for you we may charge you a fee commensurate with the work completed (see Remuneration -  commissions and Fees below).


Conflict of Interest
It is our policy to avoid any conflict of interest when providing business services to our clients. However should an unavoidable conflict arise we will advise you on this as soon as we become aware of the conflict of interest.


Complaints

We ask that you make any complaint against Integrated Financial Services relating to investment business provided by us in writing. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days of receipt and we will fully investigate it. On completion of our investigation, we will provide you with a written report of the outcome.

In the event that you are still dissatisfied with our handling of, or response to your complaint, you are entitled to refer the matter to Financial Services Ombudsman (01) 6620899. A full copy of our complaints procedure is available here.


Compensation Scheme and Client Protection.

In the unlikely event that we cannot meet our liabilities to you, you may be able to claim under the Investors Compensation Scheme. (We are members). In the event that a right to

compensation is established, the amount payable is the lesser of 90% of your loss which is recognised as being liable for compensation or 20000. The Investor Compensation Company Ltd. can be contacted at (01) 4344000.


Remuneration Policy (Commission or Fees).
Integrated Financial Services understand that traditionally consumers have felt obligated to buy a product and / or a service after initial meetings with Financial Advisors, so your initial meeting / fact-finding (getting to know you and your finances) session is Free and without obligation. If you decide to go to report stage (after initial discussions) we will request an initial fee of
500 as a complete report entails significant time and resources. A copy / sample of typical report will be available at initial meeting for inspection and will typically include up to date situation on existing business along with Valuations, Projections, Shortfalls, Cost Savings, Recommendations and Reasons why on these recommendations.

In most circumstances, commissions and /  or other benefits may become payable to us on completion of business with the product providers already listed and should these exceed initial fee, this should insure that subsequent annual reviews are free of charge.
However if there have been substantial changes in circumstances or if specialist services are required we do reserve the right to charge additional fees.

Typically fees break down as follows: Advisor fees @ 250/hr
Support Staff @
75 /hr
Specialist fees (if they are needed) will  be quoted in advance.

In relation to Mortgages, Integrated Financial Services may receive commission from the lenders listed earlier at the rate of up to 1% of the value of the amount borrowed. Our clients receive the same rates as if they went to the lender and benefit from independent financial advice ensuring you get the most suitable mortgage for you at no extra cost. Should Integrated Financial Services bring loans applications to 'letter of offer' stage and loan isn't taken up through Integrated Financial Services, we will charge an admin fee of 0.5% of the loan. This charge also applies if you change lender in the first three years.

Default On Payments By Clients.
Integrated Financial Services will exercise its legal rights to receive payments due from its clients for investment business services provided. Insurers and other product providers may withdraw benefits or cover in the event of default on payments due under policies of insurance or other products arranged for you. We would refer you to policy documents or product terms from the details of such provisions.
